Special Events Director - Cindy Marshall: Cindy Marshall is a Leisure Travel Consultant with Westwaytravel.com. She is also a Consultant with Southern Living at Home. She is very active in the charity service organization, Dallas Junior Forum, where she is on the Board of Directors and serves on fundraising and event planning. Cindy has received the Dallas County Junior College Chancellor's Award for 'Outstanding Business Women'. Her knowledge in business, event planning, and charity work compliments the Special Events Director role for The Chamber. Cindy also serves on Cultural Arts Board for The Colony, The Colony Business Women's Association, Pirates Day, and Social Committee for Stewart Peninsula Homeowners Association.
Mark Hitz - Director of Media Resources. Mark Hitz is a local Colony Realtor. His Keller Williams Realty office is at the corner of Hwy 121 and Standridge Dr. here in The Colony, Texas. Mark is also the webmaster and Historian for The Colony Sons of The American Legion.
As Director of Media Resources, Mark's focus is to enhance the website and printed media for member businesses. The media resources team is responsible for communications, publications including The Colony Connection, announcements, and all internet related resources: Website, Facebook, Twitter, E-mail Blasts, etc.
Ambassador President - Joe Watson, Sr. is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas. He started an automotive career at a car dealership from 1975 – 2002, was a mechanic for 6 years and then became a service advisor for the remaining time. Joe was recognized twice by GM as the leader in customer service for the state of Texas and was named to the National Advisory Board in 2000 & 2001. In 2002, he founded JT’s Boat Rentals which now specializes in chartering boats on Lake Lewisville. Joe has years of experience in working with people and possesses the knowledge of how to build, operate, market and grow a business. He looks forward to helping other businesses in The Colony achieve their goals.

Catherine M. Ursprung – Director At Large.
Catherine Ursprung is a Colony Independent AVON Representative. Catherine is also a Travel Consultant for Rovia World Venture Travel and Area Representative for International Student Exchange. Graduating from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Catherine obtained degrees in both Foreign Language International Trade and Spanish. Organizations and memberships also include ABWA, Tri-Sigma Alumnae, organizing a DFW SIU-C Alumni club. She and her husband are enjoying the challenges and joys of their first child, Cadence.
As a Colony Chamber Director At Large, Catherine brings a fresh and fun approach to chamber programs as well as developing ideas and activities to bring in new members while retaining our valuable current members. Since moving to The Colony in 2008, Catherine has been an active member of The Colony Chamber of Commerce and quickly expanded her appreciation for community involvement here in The Colony Texas.
